In Venice

We left Austria and boarded a train to Italy....not quite knowing what to expect on the other end!
We arrived in Venice in the early afternoon, it was stinking hot and there were dirty black clouds on the horizon...Luckily we found advertising everywhere for the campground we had planned to get to... after waiting in the heat for the bus for half an hour, we got to the campground in front of the clouds and set up tent right on the water opposite Venice. The evening was really strange with an enormous storm hitting the campground from about 6:00, after it passed two hours later a beautiful rainbow landed directly on Venice city.
