Innsbruck old stuff

We used our cards again the next day, and went to the city and visited the palace of King Ferdinand, with a Pied Piper style golden roof. The palace was beautiful, the rooms were just open to walk through...all including original furniture and art...it was very relaxed compared to German Castles....

Next we visited King Ferdinand's tomb, where his tomb is surrounded by a whole lot of oversized bronze statues, including King Arthur.

Next we visited an authentic austrian folk museum. The 3 floor building was filled with old Austrian mountain living artefacts, brought directly from the farms on the alps. The rooms were completely reassembled, and we had a very enthusiastic old lady show us around and explain ALL of the items in the museum!

The last photo is just one view we had from the campground in Innsbruck.....
