Shopping In JoBurg

Our last day in South Africa was spent carefully navigating through the suburb of Bruma to get to the market and then the biggest shopping centre in SA. After filling up on the hotel's buffet breakfast we prepared by stripping ourselves of everything remotely valuable, and, after receiving some blase directions from the receptionist we headed out of the guarded compound of the hotel. Heading first to the Bruma Lake Flea Market we picked up some special souvenirs at a bargain price (some very heavy, which we only realised when everything was packed to leave Africa). We then walked to Eastgate Shopping Centre which was an adventure in itself and spent the rest of the Rand we had on pants for Dee and a CD for Ivar. Returning to the hotel we quickly packed - only having 10mins before checkout - then headed to a (Friday night peak hour) JoBurg airport.
PS No photos for this post as we were to scared to take our cameras
